Exhibition hall

There are many highlights at the Oceanic Culture Museum including approximately 750 valuable items on exhibition such as large canoes, a map of the Pacific Ocean on the floor, and large images projected on the wall.


At the planetarium, a beautiful starry sky of a maximum of 140 million fixed stars is expressed fully on the dome screen.

Oceanic Culture Museum Craft Experience

Offers the experience program of making Oceanian mask and planisphere.

10:00am - 5:00pm (Last admission 4:30pm)

[Place] In front of Planetarium Hall entrance

[Fees] admission only (adult 170 yen, child 50 yen)

[Program time] Approx. 30 minutes

Guided Tour of Interior

A tour with a guide that introduces the highlights of the exhibition hall is available.

[Place] Navigation Zone, Intercommunion Zone, Okinawan Zone, etc.

[Fees] admission only (adult 170 yen, child 50 yen)

[Program time] Approx. 20 minutes
