Enjoy the experience of old-style living in an Okinawan native village at Ocean Expo Park
- Details:
- As of May 1, 2011, the “Hands-on experience of early Okinawan life” program is available at the Native Okinawan Village, Ocean Expo Park. Friendly locals from the nearby Motobu district welcome you to the village of early Okinawa, and recreate early Okinawan life. Park visitors will be warmly greeted with a 'Chimugukuru' traditional Okinawan dance. Demonstrations include daily house-cleaning and Yuntaku, a tea party with friends and family, so that guests may experience the relaxed lifestyle of Okinawa. Enjoy a warm, nostalgic feeling through a fun and entertaining program!
