We ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding the introduction of paid admission to the fireworks festival.
The Ocean Expo Fireworks Festival has been loved and familiar to the local community. It has been held free of charge for a long time and enjoyed by many people, but in order to protect this tradition and continue to make the festival better, we have decided to charge a fee since last year.
In recent years, rising prices have led to increased operating costs, and it has become essential to alleviate congestion and strengthen safety measures. By charging a fee, we will address these issues and create an environment where everyone can enjoy the festival with peace of mind.
We will continue to strive to bring you a fireworks festival that will stay in your memories, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
Changes from last year
- 〈Temporary parking at the former airport site to be made chargeable〉
- Starting this year, we will be charging for use of the "temporary parking lot at the former airport site" in order to alleviate congestion.
Parking fees will be used to cover the costs of maintaining the smooth operation of the temporary parking lot, such as improving the parking lot and hiring additional parking lot staff.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
In addition, to alleviate congestion, we ask that you carpool wherever possible. - 〈Paid area expansion〉
-
Until last year, only the beach area was a paid area, but starting this year, the path in front of the beach will also be a paid area. The aim is to avoid congestion and danger caused by standing and passing by, so please note that those without a paid ticket will not be able to pass through the area.
Tickets will be checked at two gates.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
- 〈Swimming and walking on the beach is prohibited on the day of the fireworks display〉
- To ensure safety, swimming and walking on the beach will be prohibited all day on the day of the fireworks display.
In addition to setting up and preparing for the fireworks, this measure will prioritize preventing accidents and ensuring the safety of visitors, as it may cause congestion in the viewing area and make it difficult to respond in an emergency. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation. - 〈About Bise Gate〉
-
The Bise Gate is a gate reserved for paying visitors only.Same-day tickets are not sold at the Bise Gate.
General visitors are not allowed to pass through.
If you would like to purchase a ticket, please purchase one at the gate below the P9 parking lot.
Please note that only those with a paid ticket may enter the Bise Gate. Please note that those without a ticket will not be able to pass through. Additionally, entry from the Orion Hotel Gate is for guests only, and cannot be used by anyone other than guests.
If you are visiting the park to watch the fireworks, please purchase a parking ticket in advance and use the temporary parking lot.
The parking lot within Ocean Expo Park will be full by 10am, and the roads will be very crowded. Depending on the time of day, it is expected that you will not be able to arrive at the park as planned in the afternoon due to traffic jams. Please make sure you leave plenty of time.
