ホザキヒメラン

山地の川沿いの岩上に生育するランです。県内では石垣島、西表島、与那国島に分布し、分布域の北限にあたります。園芸用の採集、自然林の伐採などによって個体数が減少しています。石垣島では自生地の１カ所がダム建設により水没し、消失しました。

Its population has declined due to collection for horticulture and logging of natural forests. On Ishigaki Island, one habitat was submerged and lost due to dam construction.
