サクララン

石灰岩の露出した場所に多いですが、樹によじ登ることもあります。葉は肉厚で乾燥に耐え、光沢があります。花は垂れ下がった柄の先にたくさんボール状につき、名の通り桜色です。
It is commonly found in areas where limestone is exposed, though it may also climb up trees. The leaves are thick and fleshy, glossy, and adapted to withstand dry conditions. The flowers are borne in numerous spherical clusters at the tips of drooping stalks, and, as the name suggests, are cherry-blossom pink in color.
