Iinomou Route

① At Shuri Station, go past the ticket gate and toward the South Exit (to the left).

② Go down the stairs (or elevator) and proceed straight toward Torihori Intersection.

③ Cross the street at Torihori Intersection and continue straight.

④ Turn right at the Bank of The Ryukyus (Shuri Branch).

⑤ Continue straight as you pass Iinumo Park to your left, and walk uphill on yur left.
go straight the upslope and enjoy walking along the castle wall.
You can enter Shurijo Castle from Kyukeimon.

Shureimon Route

① At Shuri Station, go past the ticket gate and toward the South Exit (to the left).

② Go down the stairs (or elevator) and proceed straight toward Torihori Intersection.

③ Cross the street at Torihori Intersection and continue straight.

④ Turn right at the Bank of The Ryukyus (Shuri Branch).

⑤ Continue straight as you pass Iinumo Park and Shuri Koban (police box) on your left.

⑥ Continue past Lawson (convenience store) on your left and go straight across Tonokura Intersection.

⑦ You will see Ryutan (Pond) on your left. You’re almost at Shurijo Castle Park!

⑧ Go past Ryutan and turn left at the Ikehata Intersection. You’ll see a sign (Shurijo Castle Park) overhead.

⑨ Proceed up the upslope, turn left at Shurijo-mae (Shurijo Castle), and you’ve arrived at Shurijo Castle Park!

⑩ Look for the large rock inscribed “首里城公園” (Shurijo Castle Park) in kanji characters.

⑪ The building with the red post box at the entrance is the Shurijo Castle Park Rest Center, Suimuikan.
There are washrooms, a free rest area, café, and restaurant, so please feel free to drop by for a break before starting your tour of the park.
