- What time are the park and facilities open until?

The hours of operation are as follows.
Free Admission Area: Kankaimon, Kobikimon, Kyukeimon
hours 8:30～18:00 Paid Admission Area: Houshinmon,Yohokoriden,Agari-no-Azana
Hours 9:00-17:30
(Last admission 17:00) - Where should we park if the parking lot is full?
- Since parking space is limited at Shurijo Castle Park, when our parking lot is full, we kindly ask that you park at a nearby privately owned parking lot (requires parking fees).
- What time can we enter the parking lot?
- Parking is available from 8:30.
- How many parking spaces are there in the parking lot?
- The Shurijo Castle Park parking lot accommodates buses and vehicles, and about 50 to 116 spaces are available for use. (Capacity of vehicles is adjusted by season and/or the number of buses parked.)
- Can we use credit cards and/or electronic money?

Shurijo Castle WAON cards are available at the Shurijo Castle Ticket Office and shops (Bingata) for 300 yen per card. On the card is a design of Shurijo Castle Seiden, making them great for gifts and souvenirs, too. There are also special privileges when you use the Shurijo Castle WAON cards at the shops within Shurijo Castle Park (at Bingata), where you will receive 5% off your purchase (some restrictions may apply). We hope you’ll pick one up on your visit and support the Shurijo Castle Fund.
- Can I use foreign currency (notes)?
- We accept US Dollars. (Exchange rate will depend on the day’s rates.)
- Are pets allowed?

Small dogs and cats are allowed only in the park area, and they must be on a leash or in a carrier. Animals are not permitted in the buildings (including the Una within the paid admission area). (*Note, guide dogs, hearing assistance dogs, and service dogs are permitted.)
