Closure notice

We are closed every year on the first Wednesday of December and the following day for conducting equipment inspection of each facility within the Ocean Expo Park (Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, Tropical Dream Center and arboretum).

Ocean Expo Park will be closed on the 3rd and 4th of December for maintenance and inspection. However, a part of Ocean Expo Park, areas related to Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, and surrounding facilities will be open.

This equipment inspection allows us to welcome visitors in a “safe, comfortable and clean” environment. Thank you for your understanding.
