Administrative organization in agricultural community and agrarian system

[Jitude] is a chief executive of Magiri, municipality, now called village mayor.

Magiri is an administrative unit designated by the royal government (Oufu). Within each magiri, there are several communities called Mura or Aza, each originating from a common ancestor. Events such as festivals are organized at the Mura level. Within each Mura, there are also some smaller administrative units known as [Haru].
