Mansion and building of Yonaguni

In the residence surrounded by low stone walls and hedges, there are two buildings, the main building [Ubuda] and the kitchen [Chimunuya], surrounded by a livestock house and a small vegetable field [Atakui, Kagu]. On Yonagunijima Is. many bamboo products were used as the base materials for various parts of the house including the hedges, walls, floors, door, and soffit.
In addition, the vegetable garden on the north side of the house and the cool stand [Daity], which relieves strong sunlight and makes shade, show the wisdom of life to fit the characteristics of the island.
