Water facilities and places of worship for the god of water
People gathered here in search of water sources (rivers, springs, underground water, etc.) to form settlements. Among the water places [Kah] in the village, the one that is said to have been used by ancestors, is called [Ugamigah], and it has been believed that the spiritual power of that water will get people rejuvenated. At the time of delivery, they put the water [Ubumiji] drawn from [Ubugah] on their finger and put it on the forehead of the newly-born child to pray for good health. The spell of putting this water on the forehead is called [Ubinadi], and it is also performed in Wakamizu on New Year's Day.
[Nakandakari hija] that became the model of this place was once used for drinking water, washing vegetables, washing clothes, bathing, etc., and the place for worshiping the god of water [Kahnukan] is located beside the water place.
